Hamster Maze is set to debut in Q1 2022 on PC and consoles (PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch). The game is set to include wide array of cosmetic items allowing players to customise the looks of their hamsters and make them feel completely unique. Hamster Maze is an arcade game enriched by a Tamagotchi component – owners are to train and take care of their pets to make sure that they have the best shot at winning. Once the hamster is deemed ready, players can pit it against other of their kind – be it an AI-controlled opponent or one that is guided by another person. Nevertheless, the phenomenon made us experience a brainwave and Hamster Maze was born – a casual title in which the players are tasked with training their pets by developing their ability to beat the maze via means of exercises and balanced diet.
Internet does, indeed, move in mysterious ways. You may or may not know there is a whole section of YouTube dedicated to these lovable rodents and their owners, many a times burning the midnight oil while preparing new mazes for their pets to tackle, which often results in millions upon millions of views. Now, steady on, we know that this may raise an eyebrow or a few but allow us to explain.
